You have been asked to provide a brief letter of reference for an applicant to The EDGE Program. The mission of this program is to strengthen the ability of women to successfully complete graduate programs in the mathematical sciences. We would appreciate your candid opinion of this student, including in what capacity you have worked with the student, her potential for success in a graduate program in the mathematical sciences, how our program might benefit her, and how she will benefit our program. For more information about the program, please see www.edgeforwomen.org. Application Deadline: March 13, 2020. If you are not applying to a PhD program in the fall, or have been in a PhD program for more than one year, then you are not eligible for EDGE 2020. Please email us if you have questions. |
