Summer 2019 Research Experience For Undergraduates

Our 15th annual REU program in combinatorics will be held in the summer of 2019, at the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis.
We expect at least 7-15 participants to spend 8 weeks in residence between early June, 2019 and early August, 2019.
Research topics have not yet been determined, but one can get a sense of potential subjects from the previous REU reports.

Application materials:
- Standard cover sheet, ignoring "current title/dates", "highest degree/institution/dates"
- a list of undergraduate math courses taken or in progress, with course grades indicated; this does not need to be an official transcript.
- 2 letters of recommendation
- a brief statement of interest in the program. Within the statement of interest, indicate whether you are a US citizen or green card holder, and if neither, indicate your citizenship and US visa status; you do not need to provide a copy of your visa.

To participate, students must have not yet completed their undergraduate degree by summer 2019. Students who are US citizens or green card holders will receive a stipend of $6000, from which room and board expenses for dormitory and meal plan are deducted.
Non-citizens will receive a stipend of $4000, from which room and board expenses for dormitory and meal plan are deducted.
