The 17th International Conference on Random Structures and Algorithms "RS&A2015" will be held at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, PA, 27-31 July, 2015. The conference, organized biennially since 1983, brings together probabilists, discrete mathematicians and theoretical computer scientists working in probabilistic methods, random structures and randomized algorithms. The first day of the conference, July 27, will be FriezeFest 2015, a day of talks in honor of the 70th birthday of Alan Frieze.

Travel support for graduate students and recent PhDs is available. If you are currently a PhD student or received your PhD in the last 3 years and you are working in the Random Structures and Algorithms areas you are eligible to apply for support. This support covers the conference registration fee, shared rooms in the Carnegie Mellon dorms, and up to $300 toward the cost to travel to Pittsburgh.

IMPORTANT: IF YOU ARE APPLYING FOR TRAVEL SUPPORT, DO NOT REGISTER FOR THE CONFERENCE. You will have an opportunity to register for the conference after the funding decisions are made in early June.
