What & When: The JMM workshop will include special sessions showcasing recent work by two of the AWM Research Networks, Women in Geometry (WiG) and Women in Mathematical Physics (WoMaP) A juried Poster Session for graduate students and recent PhDs, a Professional Development Panel, and a Mentoring Luncheon are all being organized by the AWM JMM organizing committee.
Eligibility: The Poster Session is open to all areas of research; graduate students working in areas related to Geometry or Mathematical Physics are especially encouraged to apply. To be eligible for selection and funding, a graduate student must have made substantial progress towards their thesis.
All applications should include:
- a title and abstract for the proposed poster in the form required for AMS Special Session submissions for the Joint Mathematics Meetings
- a curriculum vitae
- one letter of recommendation from your thesis advisor
It is the applicant's responsibility to make sure that letter of recommendation is submitted by August 15, 2025.
