Program Description:
The number theory group at Duke is soliciting applications for up to two postdoctoral or early career researchers and up to three graduate students for the Duke Research Scholars (DRS) program. The researchers will meet for two periods of three days (December 6-8, 2024 and March 21-23, 2025). The group will prove new cases of the Poisson summation conjecture. Ideal applicants will have experience working with automorphic representations, from the point of view of harmonic analysis or from the point of view of geometric representation theory, or both. Travel expenses and lodging will be provided. Applications received before October 19, 2024, will receive full consideration.
