The American Mathematical Society is offering 50 reimbursement grants of US$200, one per family, to help with the cost of child care to free parents to participate more fully in the 2025 Joint Mathematics Meetings. Registration for JMM 2025 and membership in the AMS is required to apply for this program. The deadline to apply was October 21, 2024, however we have received such an overwhelming response to this program that we have no more openings. Applications were accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Final decisions on recipients will be made on or before November 18, 2024. Details on the distribution of grant funds will be sent to all recipients before the meeting. Each recipient will be required to submit a completed W-9 form prior to the meetings to receive these funds. All parents are solely responsible for arranging their child care. These grants may be used in any way that helps them with child care during the meeting. The AMS cannot make any recommendations for child care providers.Application Materials Required:
