  • Number Theory, Polynomial Divisor Graphs (Required background: Either a first course in abstract algebra or number theory);
  • Group Theory, Vertex Minimal Graphs with Automorphism Group of Prescribed Order (Required background: A first course in abstract algebra); and
  • Probability, Functional Dimension of Neural Networks (Required background: A course in linear algebra and a course in probability).
More detailed descriptions of each project can be found at Students are expected to present their research findings at a regular research seminar and will write up their final results for publication. Additionally, the program offers numerous professional development opportunities and social activities.
