program Description
The number theory group at Duke is soliciting applications for two postdoctoral or early career researchers and three graduate students for the Duke Research Scholars (DRS) program. The researchers will meet for two periods of three days (December 7-9, 2023 and March 14-16, 2024). The group will work out and write up the nonabelian delta-symbol method outlined by J. R. Getz in the his second lecture at the conference ``New avenues in the circle method,'' available at https://www.hcm.uni-bonn.de/thecirclemethod2021/ More details will be made available to the successful applicants. Ideal applicants will have experience working with automorphic representations, analytic number theory, or both. Travel expenses and lodging will be provided. Applications received before November 10, 2023, will receive full consideration.
