-Current university

-Current position (e.g. graduate student, postdoc, etc.)

-Institution you received your degree

-Up to one page describing current research interests, including the title and abstract of an 8 minute contributed “lightning talk" you could give on the morning of Thursday December 7th, as part of a pre-conference workshop for junior participants (see below for details)

Applicants will also need to provide a reference letter from an advisor or mentor supporting their participation in this conference.

A half-day pre-workshop for junior researchers, including graduate students and postdocs, will take place on the morning of the first day, before the main workshop begins. The pre-workshop plans to feature simultaneous sessions of lightning talks by junior researchers in areas related to the theme of the conference, including number theory, algebraic geometry, and group theory and representation theory. When they apply for participation/funding, junior participants are invited to apply to give an 8-minute lightning talk about their research, within these themes, by submitting a title and brief abstract.
