A half-day pre-workshop for junior researchers, including graduate students and postdocs, will take place on the morning of the first day, before the main workshop begins. The pre-workshop plans to feature simultaneous sessions of lightning talks by junior researchers in areas related to the theme of the conference, including number theory, algebraic geometry, and group theory and representation theory. When they apply for participation/funding, junior participants are invited to apply to give an 8-minute lightning talk about their research, within these themes, by submitting a title and brief abstract. |
