program Description
Duke Number Theory School will take place May 25-29, 2026 at Duke University. DNTS is a graduate summer school hosted by the Duke RTG `Linked via L-functions,’ which will gather 10-15 graduate students to study a focused topic in number theory for one intense week in a friendly, collaborative environment. The theme at DNTS in 2026 is Tauberian Theorems and Applications. All lectures at the summer school will be given by student participants: each student participant will give two 45-minute presentations (written by hand, on a chalk board, no slides). For a list of topics, see https://sites.math.duke.edu/~pierce/events.shtml To submit your top four choices for topics as part of the application process, go to: https://forms.gle/aU9tghQZwyZAGEAt9 Graduate students of all years are eligible to apply. Required pre-requisites: complex analysis and measure theory. Economy travel to/from Duke University (within North America) will be reimbursed, and hotel accommodations will be arranged and funded.
