ABOUT THE AWARD
The Executive Committee of the Association for Women in Mathematics has established the AWM Microsoft Research Prize in Algebra and Number Theory. First presented in 2014, the prize will be awarded every other year. The purpose of the award is to highlight exceptional research in some area of algebra by a woman early in her career.
