The School of Mathematics at Georgia Tech invites application for undergraduate research in algebra, geometry, analysis, and other topics in Summer 2018. A list of past projects can be founds here. The program is open to all undergraduate students, regardless of major, who are US citizens, US permanent residents, or already have a visa allowing them to legally work for Georgia Tech. The deadline for applications is February 28th. Decisions will be announced by March 31st.

There will be a $5000 summer stipend, and there is affordable housing available on campus. No travel, housing, or meal funds are provided.

The application should include one reference letter, an unofficial transcript, and a personal statement listing math courses (with grades), computer skills, previous research experiences, preferences for mentors and research subjects, and explaining why the student wishes to participate in the program.
