The AMS and the MAA will provide approximately 100 reimbursement grants of US$200 (50 from AMS and 50 from MAA), one per family, to help with the cost of child care that frees a parent to participate more fully in JMM. Registration for the JMM as well as membership in the AMS or MAA is required to apply for this program.

Applications will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis until October 23, 2020. NOTE: the deadline has been extended to November 16, 2020. Final decisions on recipients will be made on or before November 30, 2020. Details on the distribution of grant funds will be sent to all recipients before the meeting, but please note that each recipient will be required to submit a completed W-9 form prior to the meetings to receive these funds.

Please note that you are solely responsible for arranging child care. You may use this grant for any sort of child care, which gives you the freedom to use these funds in a way that is most useful to your family. The AMS and the MAA will not make any recommendations for child care providers.

In the cover sheet and application, please ignore any instructions regarding letters of reference, since none are required for this program.

Applicants will be notified of acceptance on or before November 30, 2020.
