Summer 2018 Research Experience For Undergraduates

We seek two motivated undergraduate students to spend 6 weeks in residence between June 18, 2018 and July 27, 2018, for a summer program at the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis, in the general fields of dynamical systems, nonlinear waves and pattern formation.
Application materials:
- Standard cover sheet, ignoring "current title/dates", "highest degree/institution/dates";
- a list of undergraduate courses taken or in progress, with course grades indicated (this does not need to be an official transcript);
- 1 letter of recommendation;
- a brief statement of interest in the program.
To participate, students will need to be US citizens or permanent residents (green card holder), and must have not yet completed their undergraduate degree by summer 2018. Selected students will receive a stipend of $3,000 plus a maximum of $1,000 towards travel and living expenses. |
