An REU program "Modern topics in pure and applied mathematics" will be held at the University of Maryland in Summers 2022, 2023, and 2024. The REU information is found on the website: https://www-math.umd.edu/outreach/summer-reu.html The following two projects will be offered in Summer 2022:
