UNDERGRADUATES who are citizens or permanent residents of the United States or its possessions work in small groups under the direction of two faculty mentors for eight weeks on a research project. Housing and a $4500 stipend are supplied, as well as full use of university facilities and travel expenses.

The program expected dates are : May 25- July 17

Project 1: Nusrat Jahan and Elizabeth Ward Title: Bayesian hierarchical modeling to investigate genes associated with frequently comorbid autoimmune diseases

Project 2: Lihua Chen and Pabhashi Gamage Title: Bias Mitigation for Machine Learning Estimators
