AMS Congressional Fellowship

If you have an interest in public policy and are looking for something different, consider applying for the AMS Congressional Fellowship. Fellows spend a year working on the staff of a Member of Congress or a congressional committee, as a special legislative assistant in legislative and policy areas requiring scientific and technical input. 

Applications are now being accepted for the September 2019-August 2020 year. The fellowship stipend for the period is US$81,548 with allowances for relocation and professional travel and a contribution towards health insurance.  Applicants must have a Ph.D. or an equivalent doctoral-level degree in mathematics by the application deadline.
