Summer Workshop in Math (SWiM2019)

We will provide all counselors free housing and meals during their stay at Duke and award a stipend of $1000 (before tax). We will also cover travel expenses. All counselors must arrive on June 17 of 2019, a day prior to the workshop. Together with SWiM2019 participants, counselors are required to attend all scheduled activities including the courses, lectures and field trips. Counselors’ main role is to assist two course instructors throughout and to help out afternoon group discussions. Counselors also need to guide SWiM2019 participants in completing their group projects and help with their presentations scheduled on June 27 of 2019.  Counselors’ assistance will be most important for the program to be successful.

To complete the application, submit cover letter, your CV, transcript and at least one letter of recommendation via this link.

The application deadline is February 15, 2019 with selection expected to be finalized by March 15. Applicants will be notified about the decision by email no later than March 31 of 2019.
