Research projects:
- Recreational mathematics
- Two graphs, one spectrum: variations of the distance matrix
- Counting independent sets in grid-like graphs
REU Dates:
- June 2 -- July 27, 2024
Compensation:
- On-campus lodging (private bedroom)
- Some meals
- (partial) Travel support to and from Ames, IA and JMM 2025
- Stipend of $3600 ($450 per week)
Eligibility:
- At least 18 years old by June 1, 2024
- Enrolled in a bachelor's or associate's degree program and will have not yet graduated when the program runs
- Non-US Citizens and Permanent Residents are eligible to participate in this REU
