| The AMS is offering 50 reimbursement grants of US$200, one per family, to help with the cost of child care and free parents to participate more fully in the 2023 Joint Mathematics Meetings. Registration for JMM 2023 and membership in the AMS is required to apply for this program.
Applications are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis until October 25, 2022. Final decisions on recipients will be made on or before November 14, 2022. Details on the distribution of grant funds will be sent to all recipients before the meeting. Each recipient will be required to submit a completed W-9 form prior to the meetings to receive these funds.
All parents are solely responsible for arranging their child care. These grants may be used in any way that helps them with child care during the meeting. The AMS cannot make any recommendations for child care providers.
In the cover sheet and application, please ignore any instructions regarding letters of reference, since none are required for this program.
Applicants will be notified of acceptance on or before November 14, 2022. |
