Special Funding Opportunity for Mathematics Students and Early Career Mathematicians to Attend the SACNAS Virtual Conference on National Diversity in STEM (October 25-29, 2021) With funding from the National Science Foundation, the Mathematical Sciences Institutes Diversity Initiative (MSIDI) was developed as a collaboration among the mathematical sciences institutes to increase the participation of underrepresented groups in the mathematical sciences, including women, underrepresented racial and ethnic minorities, and persons with disabilities. MSIDI is pleased to announce the availability of registration funding for mathematics students and early career mathematicians interested in attending the (virtual) SACNAS National Diversity in STEM conference. This funding is intended to encourage minority groups to attend SACNAS, explore careers in the mathematical sciences, and build research and mentoring networks. ELIGIBILITY: Registration funding is available for undergraduates, graduate students, and recent PhDs. MSIDI will reimburse the registration fee with proof of payment and attendance.
