Graduate Research Opportunities Workshop (GROW) 2023 is a conference aimed at providing education and support to encourage the enrollment of and cultivate a future for women (cisgender, transgender, or woman-identified) and nonbinary individuals in graduate programs in the mathematical sciences, an underrepresented population. Through talks, panels, and opportunities for conversation and networking, we will explore the tremendous diversity of lives and careers that can be built upon a Ph.D. in these fields. GROW 2023 is open to all who are considering graduate school in the mathematical sciences in the U.S. who support the mission of GROW. Women and nonbinary undergraduate students are encouraged to apply. When and where is GROW 2023? The conference takes place Friday October 20 - Sunday October 22 at Duke University in Durham, NC. Participants will arrive Friday afternoon and depart Sunday afternoon. Formal activities will begin Friday evening and end Sunday at midday. What is the cost of participation? The conference is FREE for all accepted participants. We will cover airfare, provide accommodations, and arrange for meals. What will the conference include?
