UNDERGRADUATES who are citizens or permanent residents of the United States or its possessions work in small groups under the direction of two faculty mentors for eight weeks on a research project.

Local housing for the eight weeks of the program and a $4,750 stipend are supplied, as well as full use of university facilities and travel expenses.

Program dates are: May 22 - July 14, 2023.

Project 1: Effects of Riparian Buffers to Maintain a Healthy Environment in Shenandoah Valley, Virginia (Dr. Prabhashi Withana Gamage and Dr. Dhanuska Wijesinghe)

Project 2: Some Invariants in Algebraic Graph Theory (Dr. Josh Ducey and Dr. Brant Jones)
